73 T's were CIS, otherwise - yes it has the wrong engine.

If it was a 72E with matching numbers - maybe, but without the original engine??

Mind you the CCS 911E is the wrong colour and sporto conversation at $139K - so is looking well priced then?

Carjam says it is an E. Someone needs to find out the low down on it.

Well done Pete and Chris , I enjoyed sharing the day with you and seeing the excitement firsthand. Both drove well and safely. I wish you well for tomorrow. Will follow you on Race Monitor.
Sorry I didn't see you tonight John. The meal was good as always. Will speak to you closer to the time about the trailer.

Looks like people are catching on John. This 996TT had gone up 40% in the last few days. I think our pricing approach may be lifting the market - could help with your 996TT sale too!

This one is making 991 GT3 look cheap. Not sure why you would pay same money for one its not even GTS...advert says "why buy UK import". I can think of over 80,000 good reasons actually....

I would think that 996TT would have sold and the seller is letting the auction run to avoid the cancellation fee. No one would pay that asking price with a 997TT on for less money (even if it does have a bs features list).

Either way, makes me feel good about my entry fee to this madness!

Car looks great John, looking forward to seeing it in the flesh today.

I didn't realise there was a fee for that. I just listed for sale so don't have that.

The Turbo 3.6 is still drawing views twice that of the 996TT. Watchers are over 90. More importantly I have interest in both cars. Someone has asked for an option on the 996TT until Tuesday.

Thanks for the advice on the cayenne Doug. Very useful. Seems like we are interested in a number of similar vehicles. We should really swop, turbos, cayenne, R32 etc. now and again. Would be interesting.
Great picture John, making it more difficult to sell when it looks so good.

Jesse sold his same car for about $50k a few months ago.

Nuts. Doesn't even have the sport steering wheel with paddles. Can't understand anyone ordering a 991 without that option.

Default More early bird... breakfast run to Wanaka

Nice 964T photo (envy), my early run to Wanaka and back for breakfast before the household wakes up. Clear roads, perfect!

Ah yes that's what it will be. I've done the same myself before to avoid more stealing by Fairfax media. Good point!
