BB is waiting for you and Mark. Will these be the 80 laps that break her? We hope not.

Its priced perfectly I feel for the current market.

67,000 NZD is roughly 29K GBP. About 8K GBP (20K NZD) lower than a car of similar providence and condition/miles and options would sell for in the UK. So it doesn't work exporting it.

If it had lower kms (say 120,000) and a few more upgrades (i.e. suspension, mention of gearbox work or new tyres or CV joints, wheel bearings, paint etc) then I would estimate around 75K NZD is right. 85K is probably top of market in NZ right now for a C2 6 speed so it would have to be a really nice example with under 100K km and some nice enhancements.

85K+ is for C4S/C2S and something quite out of the ordinary.

I think it will make a good purchase for someone. Its the first 6 speed 993 Ive seen for sale for at least 6 months (the last manual 993 that sold was private). These cars can handle that mileage easily and as long as its been well maintained with a sympathetic maintenance eye not just a "wof and when it needs replacing" view of the world then I think its going to give someone alot of fun...

Off topic, entertain yourself with this joke auction, esp the Q&A. A great laugh

Be interesting to see how quickly it moves.

Only thing against it is the milage.....??

It's not a cheapie car, so good test of strength for the manual 993 Market?

James - you might be losing your back-up buyer if he see's this??
LoL I was going to email it to him. Theres no guarantee he's a buyer anyway.

OK - the 993 lads have pumped up the market enough now.

You barstards did this to me when I purchased mine. The guy thought he had gold dust all of a sudden and wouldn't negotiate a cent.

Maybe you should do the same for Mike?? :-)

I think we have. Im pretty certain Mike car will sell swiftly at this price.

Heck I thought youd be happy. After 6-12 months of listening to your price doom and gloom after you purchased your car its now likely worth more than you paid for it. Less than it owes you but you cant have it all :-)

Its ok Buba. As long as you still have the green paper dot stickers on your centre air vents, (Klaus in the factory had the job of putting those on each and every 964 & 993) then you are in with a fighting chance to recover at least some of your hard earned :-)....

But then there is the fact its been tracked! All bets off Mikes is definitely worth more then?

Nah - no hope, 993's are ugly now and on one wants them.

Best hope is to back date into a 964 replica?

I thought track providence and patina added value?

That's more like it Buba. Bridgestone race history is working for you I reckon but you have a long way to go to get the patina thing happening right now...

Bummer. Presumably the gasket on just one bank has blown. Left or right? What year is yours? I have one bank's worth of replacement gaskets left over from when my '79 4.5 had the same thing happen.
