Macca - what are the details on the $30K 64 resto?
Kevin Etches has the blue manual Singapore 993 getting a $20K paint job at the moment.
My prediction is an air cooled 911 in tidy condition will have an entry price of $80K by 2020.

This might be the white over navy blue interior car. If it's the one I'm thinking - it's worth every cent as the car is like new and you could never restore a 64 to this condition without spending 6 figures.
Who purchased the car? How was it being marketed for your mate in know of its sale?

Dave - your records are invaluable mate. In 10-15 years time we will be laughing at how cheap they are (a bit like long hoods 10 yrs ago)

Don't tell Macca, but pretty amazing - even moreso the speed of the PDK. Was originally just going to tell you guys I made some small mods for BB and that I expected lap times will drop marginally.

Hi Paul. To be fair not 100% sure. I saw it in progress. Full glass out, door and hoot/trunk off respray with all new seals and trim and two replacement front fenders (when stripped back originals were found to be damaged and poorly repaired)....was a bit surprised at what this type of work costs when done to that standard. I got lucky with mine in 2005, next time will cost alot more I suspect...

So I haven't got a driveable Porsche and that would normally be tragic but tomorrow will be epic; GT3 for a warm up, leftie longhood hotrod for the track, and watching a bunch of middle aged men beating a Honda.
