What did you do to your 997 today?
Burning Brakes
That's awesome and my dream setup. Looking forward to you impressions of Tractive with DSC. I have the Bilstein Damptronics with mine, which is phenomenal, but believe the Tractive setup is the best of the best with much faster reaction time and greater adjustment range.
Also need new rear tires alignment issue chewed up one of them. finally corner balance and alignment.

Installed a new Interstate battery. The Bosch S5 was totally dead... would not even take a charge. Interestingly, I could not find a Bosch reseller in Phoenix any more. Used to be Pep-Boys... so I didn't even get to use my 3 year warrantee. Sucks... But she's sucking up the new juice now!
Also, had to adjust TPI settings. Kept getting a wheel change error...

Finally pulled out the X51 airbox to change out the 2 air filters. It came out and apart very easily. I was surprised how wet the filters were a day after washing car yesterday even though I try not to get much water near the rear hood intakes.
I also got around to unplugging the electric cable to the PSE ?solenoid, and it is nice to have a little extra sound without having to use the sport throttle map when using the button, which I find too sensitive in daily commute use.
Was suppose to do an oil change until I looked and realized I used my last oil filter last change, so I ordered 3 more and have something to do weekend after next.

LOL - I'm in sales. I sell high-speed finishing equipment for digital web presses primarily into the digital book printing industry. I've always been interested in mechanical stuff - started working on dirt bikes when I was a kid and moved to cars when I got my first 914 at 15. It's just gotten worse from there
This 997 project really shouldn't have taken this long, but wasn't really focused on it and spent a lot of time riding dirt bikes with my son, which is more fun!

Oil change and some basics, considering maybe selling it????
What’s up guys, so I changed the oil today and ran it through some tests. Gotta love this thing but idk might consider selling it, maybe getting into a 991.? Any thoughts?

😂
Three Wheelin'
Thoughts - you need some serious spacers and a drop on it. Oh and some colored center cap crests for starters.

All I can say is that if I somehow ended up with a car in my garage looking like the one in the picture below I would just weigh my options on how to get rid of it with the least amount of $ lost. I do some wrenching myself but this is many moons above my pay grade. Can't believe you somehow put all that back together at home.
