Fixed a passenger window issue there since I took delivery in July. Also cleared the no cd changer found error on PCM startup...also since I took delivery. Now to get the Mobridge music audio working..(also...came with the car).

Day started here... best friend came over and helped me wrestle the trans back onto the motor!

Ended here, new flywheel, RMS, clutch, slave cylinder, throwout bearing, and a few other things.

Moving to the next project, finishing the brakes, currently waiting for them to come back form powder coating; and spark plugs and rear bumperette delete and a new front lip, hope to have her back on the ground by the end of the month.

15mm means 15mm extra length of "lever" from the fulcrum to the center of effort.

Fired it up for the first time since November 1 and took it to the car wash to get the garage dust blown off. Just had the exhaust tips ceramic coated to match the new wheels. Nothing beats the tinkle of the gravel still on the roads being thrown up onto the exhaust cans.

New front/rear sway bars and end links, cleaned front grills, added emc2 rear pieces.

My front rotors are getting there. Not past the wear marks yet, but grooved pretty good. I assume that will be next.

Rolled the dice on an import suede steering wheel cover and my ability to stitch it on better than a kindergartner... actually feels great to the touch, looks decent enough and gives the wheel an extra few mm of thickness that makes me happy. The dark grey thread perfectly matches the Porsche stitching elsewhere in the cab. Not bad for $30 while I postpone a 991 wheel upgrade.

Default Replaced factory engine mounts

With RSS Tarmac Series. All the positives I’d read were true, the chassis feels like the difference between an unlaced shoe and a perfectly-fit, laced-up sneaker. Shifting feels ever so much quicker but throttle response has definitely improved. What I didn’t expect was a change in my car’s audible character; the exhaust note sounds just a touch deeper and raspier than before. My wife’s ears confirmed it wasn’t my imagination, both inside and outside the car sounds a bit more baritone under power. Altogether it was a simple procedure that took probably an hour all-in.

Significant corrosion, to be expected in a 14+ year-old car

The RSS mounts are gorgeous parts, a pity you can only see one when installed

The weight difference between factory and RSS hardware was noticeable if not dramatic

Before above , after below. Note the position of the exhaust tips

Bought some H & R lowering springs last fall from a guy that bought the wrong set. My son & I installed them over the last 2 weekends, in fact I had him do all the work except the spring compression & dealing with the electronics...turned out great. Planning on putting on some wheel spacers that I am buying from another member to complete the job.

Thanks to the MANY members that posted their 'how-to' pictures, instructions, etc. but especially @TheBruce whose pages we went by the most.

Finished project, 2 beauties right there.

Taking off, not putting on so no worries about torque.

Having a Targa made the rear strut bolt access way easier!

Hows the NVH and ride with those compared to the originals?

N - The character of the noise is what I notice, the exhaust note sounds a bit deeper in the cabin. I can't say that the car is, overall, noisier than before.
V - There are some occasional rattles I can hear, from the passenger seatbelt and door storage compartment I think. The vibration is intermittent and inconsistent, and seems to be occurring with less frequency since the installation
H - The ride quality hasn't changed but I can feel the weight of the car with better sensitivity on braking and acceleration. On low-speed turns around town, 90 degree intersections in particular, the chassis feels sharper. If anything the upgrade has made my need for refreshed suspension clearer but I wouldn't characterize anything about the change as increased harshness.

Sorry, posted and forgot to check back. Here are some other angles. I did a lot of cutting, shaving, and heating/bending to get it to fit. I worked with EMC2 to develop a mount that holds the sides of the lip to the edge of the front bumper ahead of the front wheels without drilling. The lip does decrease front nose clearance by a lot (about 2.25"), so keep that in mind when considering this mod.

Wow, the turbo lip looks 10x better than the 991 sports lip EMC2 sells (no offense EMC2). Hope you can offer a kit for this in the future.
