Laugh if you must but I think these are way cool and installed them today on my 2009 C4S. Under $25 including free shipping. Here's the link if you want some https://biamaid.com/collections/car-door-logo-light these pics are in daylight in my garage , just think how they will look when it's dark

Bomar, I have the same ones on my 997s and Cayenne. These are the better looking ones in my opinion vs the ones that have the white circle around the crest. Put the BMW versions on my daughter's X5 too. The colors will fade fairly quickly and you'll need new ones next year, but for $25, who cares for the coolness factor.

I had to make an adaptor cable when I installed mine 4 years ago. As Pete said ... They fade over time. But they are cheap and easy to replace.

Are you trying to fit the OEM 991's to a 997? I wish Porsche would step up and make them for ours.

VERY COOL!! So they fade in color in a year? that's a shame.

I installed a set yesterday as well. To me the logo is too big. I actually like the one that says Porsche instead of the crest. For $25 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'll take your crest ones if you're not going to use them.

Khloesdad a buddy of mine found a wholesaler and a few sets were specially made for the 997.

These will be similar to the 991 style and fit the 997.
I thought that I had received them yesterday however, no!

I’ll update once I’ve fitted them and the quality of the lights.

The more I read about this product (DSC), the more I think we all need one. Kinda pricey though, please let us know if you think it's really worth it.
