What did you do to your 997 today?

Most of the install is taking apart the rear seats and removing the subwoofer. It's not very complicated, just working in a compact space for a while stinks.
It transforms the car. Stock PASM Sport Mode for me was unusable. I actually felt it was detrimental and did not instill more confidence in the handling of the vehicle.
With the DSC controller, Sport Mode is not only usable, it becomes a preference. I generally try to choose my wording when it comes to providing feedback on a modification - particularly to an educated and experienced group such as this.

Finally figured out the puzzle sequence to get the major components back into the engine bay. I decided to cut the oil filler neck into two pieces so I could have more room to get the supercharger and intake pipe back in. Last time I had them in and mounted the custom alternator bracket to the supercharger, and then there was no way to get the alternator in becise of the special bracket. The biggest pain is getting the inlet pipe to the supercharger on the back while simultaneously getting the supercharger oil return line onto the drain back pipe to the sump, but got it tonight.
With the alternator in place there's no way to get the oil filler neck back together so I'm going to put them pack together with a 3" long 1" ID silicone coupling hose that should be plenty tight not to leak.
I can't out the alternator back in until I have that hose, so stuck until Thursday when Amazon comes, but I had slipped the alternator in and all the bracket holes line up so I should be good.
Then I can reinstall the coolant plate that blocks the alternator and the rest of the special bracketry, belts, etc.

Thanks Wayne. My analogy is trying to put a baby back into the womb. For a while, I thought it wouldn't go. The oil filler neck mod will make it more serviceable when I have to do this again and I'm writing down the puzzle steps in sequence because I'm sure I will have forgotten by then.

This was an easy decision for me given all of the experienced commentary on this site relative to the value of it.

- Stock PASM Normal mode is approx. 25% stiffness. PASM Sport mode is approx. 80% stiffness.
- DSC Normal mode is a dynamic operating range of 5% to 100% stiffness. DSC Sport mode is a dynamic operating range of 20% to 100% stiffness. This should be felt immediately,

That's awesome and my dream setup. Looking forward to you impressions of Tractive with DSC. I have the Bilstein Damptronics with mine, which is phenomenal, but believe the Tractive setup is the best of the best with much faster reaction time and greater adjustment range.
This 997 project really shouldn't have taken this long, but wasn't really focused on it and spent a lot of time riding dirt bikes with my son, which is more fun!
Here are some before and afters of my 928 project and a couple shots of 914 engine removal.
