I would have done it with saddle interior, but I thought that I needed a change of pace.
I love that Midnight blue over cocoa! Enjoy your 991!

I also went with Metropol blue mats when they were on sale at suncoast in my black interior, it looks decent, I too was hoping for more of a pop though.

Last night I took off my bumper cover so that I can put on the awesome FVD exhaust that I bought from member AWP1 here on rennlist. Today I will attempt to remove the rusty old bolts that are holding the factory exhaust on. I have to say that I have never seen nuts bolts rusted this badly on a 5 year old car with 9500 miles on it. The nuts have literally partially disintegrated after a spray of PB Blaster and soaking overnight. This will turn out to be some project.....

Finally got out with Wayne Smith on a much-too-short roll through Chileno Valley.

P.S. I expect that that those of you that haven't put your 997 into hibernation get out there and properly enjoy these incredible machines over the holidays...and here is to a healthy, happy & prosperous 2016!

P.S.S. mootsvamootsrsl: nice job...I love Speed Yellow...she's absolutely gorgeous!!!

Looking for input on lowering my GTS. Stock ride height just doesn't look very good. Research I've done suggest springs only which would lower it 15mm without messing up the sport plus mode, but that's only .59 inches. Would like to drop it at least an inch. I'll hang up and listen.

Picked a new in bag Porsche OE cover off of Craigslist for $125. I had to help Santa out and do the leg work.

Paid the $2k to get her registered and put my plate on. She feels like she is mine now. In DE we don't have "taxes" we have registration fees based on the value of the car or the sales price (whatever is higher). Sounds like a tax to me.

Installed the plate, scrubbed off the stupid PA inspection stickers, put some conditioner on the seats, installed clear turn signals and wiped her down. Put her to sleep till I get back from visiting relatives. I also ordered some Weather Tech mats. That tan interior does not like all this rain and grime that we have been getting lately.

Drove to the grocery store for last minute Christmas dinner items and ran over a slow squirrel on the way home. My first time ever hitting a squirrel and it had to be in my P-Car! I slowed down, figuring he would run out of the way, but apparently he wasn't fast enough!

Thoughts on the Metropole Blue floor mats with Sand Beige.......Not 100% happy. I was expecting mare of a contrast like a Navy blue.....more of a pop. The Metropole color is more like a grey blue. I can see them turning into a darker grey/blue as time and dirt take their toll.
