Been thinking about black rims for my 997.1, so I Plasti Dip'ed my stock turbo rims to test out the look with Atlas Grey.
I liked them before:

But I think I like them better after:

Might get them powder coated after it wears off.

Plus side, it shuts off if you leave something on. No more dead battery.
I'd be happy to pay the premium if it gives a clue that its life is about over when it gets to that point. That's what sucks about the standard battery for these cars and I've tried different brands on three 997's now. No difference. They go from cranking strong to not cranking at all with nothing in between. I've owned a lot of cars but never one except for the 997's where the battery went from what seemed like 100% healthy to 100% dead from one crank to the next.

Well I was pretty sold on the "never be left with a dead battery again". I dropped the little remote in my door and hope to never use it. But its a nice feature for the batt to shut off if somethings left on.

You should top off your coolant. Fill to the min line when cold.

I'd run grab a bottle of Water Wetter and add that since you have room for it.

Finally got to really drive my new 997 S. Home today from a 7 day trip. The battery died on the shipping down. So today replaced the battery, and ordered and replaced the orange side markers for clear. Tomorrow will be full detail of the interior and then work on the outside this weekend. Wife and I went for a drive. She got to drive her back home and loved it. Actually her second time driving her as she met the freight truck when she was delivered. First time she has driven a manual in about 5 years.

If G13 is OEM then I'd suspect yes since Suncoast sells it. I've been running it in mine.

My spotify app on the car broke down recently, for a time I got no way to play songs. But then a friend of mine gave me the TunesKit Spotify Music Converter on computer and help me to convert songs to mp3. Now I play them through the Bluetootth,

Beautiful car. I see yellow calipers. Do you have real ceramic brakes or did the previous owner just paint the calipers?

Nope they are the real deal. And quite amazing once they warm up too.

@sandwedge , the App they have is pretty cool and I believe will indicate if you're battery (or alternator) is going.
