Hi Everyone! Just acquired a 2007 C4S, even though summer still hasn't started here in Canada I cannot wait for winter to try this thing out in the snow! First thing I had to do was swap out the radio..

Like a lot of others here I've taken the working from home time to get acquainted with most of the DIY's.
Thank you for all the write ups on each of these projects!
Also a quick note, I did all this without jacking the car up, removing the fender wells and/or wheels!
Over the last two weeks:
Replaced the serpentine belt (30-45 min) and cleaned up the intake system
Replaced the cabin filter (4 years old!, 30 min)
Removed front bumper and cleaned out everything (radiators, 3-5 hours with breaks)
Removed battery had it tested, and removed the distributor pin and cleaned it (2-3 hours with breaks)
Bought a new aFe Dry Flow filter
This week I'll install the Rennline phone mount and thinking about tackling the starter DIY.

You should check that filter you removed. I think it's a reusable one so you might have luck cleaning it and either saving it for next time or selling it.
Threw an IPD plenum on. I was very skeptical at first, turns out it made a surprisingly positive impact! Pre plenum I had the fabspeed dual cone intake, borla headers and mufflers, and AWE 200cell cats. Car ran mostly good, but had some hesitation in a few spots throughout the rev range. After putting the IPD, all hesita is gone. The car felt immediately more powerful, and my NVH sounded lower as well. Why the stock plenum isnt this from the factory is beyond me.
since I'm in a base 997.1, I'd love to do some pulls VS a 997.2 base, S and GTS to see where it stacks up on an acceleration front! It feels wickedly fast compared to when it was all stock!
to be 100% honest, not sure. Unknown if PO had a gt3 TB or not. I didnt measure, but there is no ridge between the TB and plenum, car runs a ton smoother, and if it is in fact stock I'd gladly take a donation 82mm TB 😉
