Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?
Yes thanks Jamie. The seller owns a body shop next to Steve's garage at HD. Dropped an F bomb every second word. Suspect he may have been banned from 2kcup after his racing mishap (got sideswiped so punted the offender at the next turn).
He reckons the car will do 1.27 at HD. I'll let Dave post on the driving experience and what he thinks we need to do upfront.

We're going back down tomorrow with the rest of the cash and leave it at Dave's to tidy up until you all meet on the 19th. Don't break it before I can have a go.
So it drives surprisingly well. A bit wallowy and brakes are in need of work but slick gear change, new clutch, new engine, evo 7 radiator, adjustable race seat that fits big fulla's, 3" belts and harness bar. Wof until november, rego till sept. It may not get another wof without some superficials but we might have killed it before then anyway.
I will give it a tidy up and do any work within my scope of basic skills to make it as good as reasonably possible. Will have to shop some work out though.
Number one goal is that it is durable. Nothing else really matters.
In light of that, the brakes are the only target for mechanical attention.
New pads, disc skim and fluid.
Engine oil change, check coolant condition.
Tyres are what they are but have life so are good
Suspension is a bit soft but it is fine.
Looking for guidance on pads and fluid that can be achieved within a small budget.
The jury is out on the big green 'M' on the bonnet and I've always wanted to do a rattle can job on a car but never had one ****ty enough to deserve that. The current scheme is a mix of matt and gloss black.
More info when we get it home tomorrow.

+ 1 - I'm in.
This is one for the budget list for me - I always wanted an Integra when I was a teenager 1993/94. I had a Civic Vtec - and the Integra was the car to have when you were into Hondas.........
let me know when it's a done deal so I can transfer some cash into the RSG account.

P.S - to make if fair, we need to create 40kg's ballast for the Michael and Chris's to carry. You have an unfair advantage on the 100KG class (err me, Pete and John..........)
Macca - may JUST scape under - depends on whether Jo has him on a diet at the mo to loose the 'European' luggage..........
