I appreciate the entry cost is minimal but really you want something that will take a thrashing. SR20de, B18b or B18c if you can or if you must a trusty twin cam Corolla. You may need to spend a little more up front but it'd last longer plus it would be easier to spanner on, find replacement bits etc. Heck after Paul stacks it you could buy another the same and keep the the first one as spares.

Some suggestions....

^^^^ I agree. Big fan of the concept but probably pointless me joining too as the Alfa will be long dead by the time I get a drive LOL!

Not sure if this is certified and obviously a Turbo would be more to worry about.

Mean as ... that gt3 is gonna be so fast you wont be driving the 993 so much Macca. You will be trying to get the best out of the 991.

What colour is that Blue one called?

Graeme. Sapphire Blue. Mark has just landed the new MC 650S and has had a 458 Speciale for a month or two. Has some other nice gear in there too and will be running a back to back road comparo between them all sometimes soon. Interestingly the MC 650S doesn't review so well on the track....

Jamie. Nice find! That could be a little rocket and reliable enough if turbo set up properly...

This is a good video showing perfect double-apexing

Cuts in early, and turns in on the 'S' of the Toyos sign for the second apex.

Michael does a few laps, but check out 5.00 minutes.

He passes Neil driving my car just before 5 mins.................

Paul. Thats exactly how Ray explains it.
Great video - seems very violent in there. perhaps its just the video. I assume we are talking around 1.14 or a fraction under a lap here...

Ha! I think a few expletives were muttered, but in the context of f$&@ing great driving

My impression was that Michael is a great driver, he can clearly pedal the 964 around HD very comfortably.

The video does exaggerate the ride Macca, not as uncomfortable as it looks (from a passenger perspective).
