Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?

P.s. you need to change Indy to another company like the rest of us have migrated too.
Burning Brakes
you can take my car for a spin
Maybe I shouldn't bother then if it's tame. The way the guys speak on the 964 forum it seems to rate as one of the best mods for the money.
Aaagh. Just when thought this was a no brainer, I am struck down with indecision.

All this gained me less than 1 second on the track. The same mod's in my C3 made 3-4 seconds...??
The biggest improvements were the tranny and engine mounts as you get a very slight vibration in the seat which I love as you can feel the car better.

The mod by itself is not a game changer, it's one of a suite of mods like the short shift and engine mounts that changes the characteristics of the car to be more sport orientated.
If you want big changes - change the turbo, intercooler and chip it??
Three Wheelin'
Longer term this will give me a real sense of achievement and emotional investment in the car. If I can fix Skyhawks I can fix a 24 year old car!

No - I did PSS10 suspension, front bushes, slightly stiffer sways, the engine mounts, short shirt, goldenrod and replacement front bushes, and lowered the car from a tractor all in one go, the performance (or handling) improvement wasn't that big, but the car went front being a softie and making NO engine noise to actually sounding and handling like a 911.

Agree with what Paul says.
If your existing rod is in need of replacing its probably a no brainer. Its more precise and has no plastic ball cup so will last the life of the car. And Id imagine its less than half the price of a new OEM.....

456 shooting brake is interesting. Made for Sultan of Brunei's brother Prince Jeffrey. He commissioned the whole run of them. They were the only ones made that I know of. After Jeff got his hand smacked for almost bankrupting the Sultanate many cars were sold and many still rot in storage. Over 2000 cars in total. At least one of these 456 shooting brakes was sold to the UK and obviously another found its way here. In fact quite a few of the "Archimedes Development Corporation" cars were sold via NZ dealer intermediary and are often know as "Sultan" cars. This isn't strictly correct as they were owned by ADC the company that Jeffrey funded using the countries gold!

Really wish I hadn't read about the guy in the yellow shorts. Makes me mildly nauseous every time I type golden rod now.

I was car'd out when I left him, but the itch is growing. I just edited my Crown Range at Sunrise run with most of it taken from the outside mount. Golden glow (not rod) shining off his wet bonnet and David Guetta pumping out Memories on the sound track. 8 minutes of my best edit to date (simple). Next I have to tackle Highland Park. At this rate I'll be finished all by this Sunday, but I've said that before.

That's ridiculous John. You both have every right to be pissed. 4+ weeks isn't acceptable. Chris has to have his car prepared for May Targa in 2 weeks!
