Dates look about right. They bought a UK car for Helen and had it painted a non Porsche metallic dark blue (from the Audi colour chart if I recall correct). Would have been around 2004.

Still a very nice colour, think I may have seen it in at CCS today along with a Boxster Spyder and a certain CGT looking a bit different!
Was over at Ferrari's new place the other day too (which is a shambles) and saw some interesting vehicles, 456 station wagon and folding hardtop 550.
These days I feel like a roving dealership inspector, been to VW, Ferrari, Porsche, Audi and BM Workshop in the last month or so. If they paid me to do it I would though!

456 shooting brake is interesting. Made for Sultan of Brunei's brother Prince Jeffrey. He commissioned the whole run of them. They were the only ones made that I know of. After Jeff got his hand smacked for almost bankrupting the Sultanate many cars were sold and many still rot in storage. Over 2000 cars in total. At least one of these 456 shooting brakes was sold to the UK and obviously another found its way here. In fact quite a few of the "Archimedes Development Corporation" cars were sold via NZ dealer intermediary and are often know as "Sultan" cars. This isn't strictly correct as they were owned by ADC the company that Jeffrey funded using the countries gold!

Hi Warwick, they are the new Fuchs model, made by the original company to new offsets that fit modern Porsches. Forged and light but expensive, think no change from $5,000 for a set, fitted on your car in NZ.

Not me, because you don't need one on C4s. We don't have the same gearshift weakness as the C2. From the Golden rod C4 thread "Well..................Good news, I guess. After buying a C4 shift rod and sending it to FD Motorsports for them to use as a template, it turns out that they don't think that there's any benefit as the stock C4 rod is so well engineered and built."
Burning Brakes
Sure, but it's for the turbo as it has a knackered shift rod and I thought I might try the alternative, it's cheaper than the P product too. Everyone seems to rave about it on Rlist but I was hoping for a local recommend. My indy is not keen.
