John I had din weight at 1450kg from google!

If true factory weight was indeed 1475kg I will revise my touring weight with half a tank up to 1422KG...

From the Manfield and Pukekohe videos I assumed I was pretty quiet. I was even thinking about a secondary bypass.....

I had the secondary bypass thing happening last week, the olive joint between the cat and the bypassed primary failed which must be sort of similar to having no secondary and it was very loud. I intended to take it for a long drive to sort out the rough running issues but did a U turn straight away and put it away for fear of attracting attention from the fuzz

According to a net search, German DIN 70020 standard is car with full fuel tank, spare wheel and tools. I suppose Air Con, Sunroof etc will muck that around as they were not standard.

It will be very interesting to see what she does weigh. Just like the AIM data, it takes away conjecture and replaces it with fact.

John. That is correct. The factory measure with full fluids (inc fuel). Yes, sunroof, aircon etc are outside of that measurement unless specced standard on that model. Did you get a number? Im assuming 1450 is without sunroof/air con so 1475 may be closer to the truth. My car was 1370 factory but 1395 real life. Ive added 30-40kg (1/2 cage, 18" wheels, electronics, speakers, over mats, strut brace, Trackit, HIDs etc) and removed around 125kg. Thats why Im guessing around 1422 for you....

I'd better fill up the headlight washer reservoirs etc. that could be the difference between you or Dave being correct.

That means LOTS of laps and even better it will likely be wet so great opportunity to hone those skills.
A day for the old fashioned SO2s perhaps.

Maybe not a day for the 3.6T John... And it looks like I'm going to have to pull out of the Nov 2 day due to work; was hoping to have that minor leak on Mr Blue sorted by then but maybe we should try to get both Turbos out on Dec 14? Also, Dec 14 is two days short of the first Anniversary (of sorts) of RSG. An excuse for something special?

Dec 14 is a good day for the Turbos to get back together. In fact it would be one year to the day I repatriated.

Is the guy that bought the dark metallic blue 3.3 Turbo in RSG? Doesn't he live near you? Should get him out too.

He lives about 400 metres away (about 200 metres from Dave). He's not a member of RSG. Right now he's 'retired' and not willing to risk any big bills so is unlikely to join. Mind you he could do what I did last December and turn up as a spectator.

Love the Vid Jason. Great F1 track that, love to drive it sometime. Plenty of opposite lock action there John, will be fun to see your in car video on 14 Sept. I expect to see some hairy chested action (whether intended or not). Two pairs of daks stuff. Surely its good for 1.16 around HD? Its got 360bhp! Give it to Paul for a few laps LOL!

You two take it easy. Remember we dont wish for any turbo bots scattered around the track!

I think today's Blipshift shirt was tailor made for John McM!! The designer must have been at Puke last weekend - I won't spoil it by posting the link just yet!
