Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?
When the 'Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed' generation of teens start hitting their mid-career earning stripes I wouldn't bet against it. But she may be keeping Chris Amon company for a while yet, since that would be from about 2025. She may catch a mild swell earlier from that tide that's lifting all boats just now though.
I saw that 964 Cab also. I thought it was cute (Ive seen it in the flesh before) and thought I would generously buy it for Jo as an "xmas" gift as transport in NZ. I was in one of those moods which were dangerous and was about to bid then thought Id ask her if she liked the colour. If she had have said yes I have no doubt I would have placed that bid and bought her that car. She deserves it. Shed prefer a tycoon cut diamond but hey you cant drive that can you LOL!
Ill spare you the explicative's. Lets just say its the ugliest damned thing shes apparently every seen, she absolutely hates the colour thinks its ghastly inside, doesn't really want a convertible (her mum has an older one and always expensive issues with the hood) and doesn't much care for a 4 speed auto (could sell her on it but she will drive/own manual happily and I don't want to kill that spirit just yet!!!). Her parting remarks as she walked out the door were if I buy that "Green Frog" Im an idiot and she will disown me.
Now I like that car. I think she is being harsh. But I need to be disliked right now by my wife like a hole in the head so I suggest to anyone else looking to buy this as a "gift" to their partners (and a bit of occasional use themselves) that you get their impression first. I think us Porsche guys have blinkers on sometimes. At the right price (and I think this car is incredibly cheap by global terms if global of course is the UK bubble market we seems to be constantly comparing ourselves with) then make sure you run it by them first or you may be paying 3-4K a year for insurance, maintenance, rego and warrant on something that they/you never drive and your wife will still want the blue mini!
Jake. I told the seller I will be there at 10:30. Address is in Albany.
Agree with Macca's comments re buying for someone else. The WB is a masculine shape (what woman identifies with a big bottom?), but the colour is more feminine.
If it's dry it will be a good chance to stretch the Turbo 3.6 legs a bit, if nothing else, now that the Grinch is mobile.

Pel, Walt, Jason and Jake - would you gentlemen kindly consider blessing us mere 'normally aspirated' mortals with the presence of your mightly Turbo cars (and your fine company), and consider attending the PCNZ concours so we can all ogle your beautiful beasts please??

Bloody Luke beat me to the question of whether the Speedline Rep's would be sold separately.
Luke you can buy Macca's old 18's off me if you are looking for bigger and sexier feet.

I could be tempted with Macca's 18s though. I'll fire you a PM.
