Great going guys and thanks for the update Macca. Sounds like you guys had a great run with the weather pretty much throughout and got a good chance to deal to every track.

BTW, I expect SITT revenants will be nursing track hangovers, but if any Team RSGers are looking to run the 2K cars at Saturday's twilight 2KCup Hampton track day the cars are available. Both cars attended the first of these already so entry fee this time is just $50 rather than the $100 shown at Motorsportentry.

The news there is that BB2 looks to be running stronger than ever now (the donor engine was mint). The flu put paid to my plans to give the Grinch some post Rallycross love last weekend (and my back was still much too sore before that), but I can take her in tomorrow for that (my cost of course) if someone puts their hand up for her.

Anyone thinking about a hot rod build? Things are a bit boring at home now that mine is done.

That's a lot of work to take a 993 back. I wonder about the more modern backdates. They look wonderfull but would have too many rough edges smoothed out, all the hairy bits that make the early cars so visceral? Maybe that is the attraction - you get an early car that goes better and you can use.

^^^^ Jamie - been looking at that 993 back date too, and quite like it.

^^^^that's an extremely good transformation now the you see the detail. So the ethos of Singer is to have modern and tuneable underpinnings but on a retro body, so this could/should be even better with a 993 platform underneath.

Official Licensys Euro plates arrived. Subtle watermark of kiwi. Apparently these are personal plates, interested to know the meaning!

Not sure what the "WF" is, but the 7771 could mean "lucky one"
