I just did a quick tracking on the BB brakepads.
It seems the Americans don't know where New Zealand is.
Shipped from Phoenix Arizona to San Bernardino California and then to Edison New Jersey and now in transit.
It seems to go the other way around the earth.
Expected arrival is Sep 10.

Thanks Ralf. We should be fine. If Doug goes mad and uses up the remaining EBC pads and then the Repco spares we can just buy more Repco ones...and put him in the dog box.

foot on brake and gas not that good either.
Certainly true with any sort if race pads. It's not possible on the road without breaking the law or at least drawing a lot of attention. Holding your feet on both pedals is more likely to glaze the pad than bed it.

Buy PF and there's no need to bed at all. ;-)

Road/sport pads are a different story. A few quick 100-60 or so and some cool down time is the most you need.

Matt, that reminds me that I've yet to use the PFC08 in anger yet. The dual sprints didn't count.

Are you getting your car back anytime soon? If not, then as already stated BB is ready for race duty on 23/9.

The RUF gets mention in Mods Motors! That might be the shot in the arm it needs to get it sold?

Not that my modifications are to everyone's tastes.

I have some 17" O.Z. Futuras, which look great on 964s. They need reconditioning but if anyone is desperate for some track 17s I could be convinced to part with them. I bought them to put wets on.
Those futura's look good. But only if you run them without centre caps. Black centres / polished rims would look excellent on a solid colour 964.
I think a 964 can look overtyred fairly quickly if running big rims and 17's are about the right wheel / sidewall proportion for me anyway, maybe 18's but no bigger. A bit like an early 911 or G series running on 16" Fuchs; doesn't look right.
D90's will come screaming back and John's frankenstein hybrids will be king.

Silly number plate as well.
The tools that do this kinda stuff normally put half cages in the rear of 964's. As if they are ever going to turn a wheel on the race track . . .

I want to see a slammed 964 running Ronal Bears. You're not racing until you're racing bear.
