And that is why I am not necessarily jumping to get a 997. I don't want to pay $20-30k to rebuild the engine, at that point I would rather just have a nice 996 Turbo.

I actually messaged the guy, the engine is a Motormeister rebuild from 2012. I have no experience with Motormeister, however I've heard bad things about this shop. So buyer beware...?

True, if that was early-build / ambers it would be a $50K+ car easy

I'd swap out for a mint S2000. At least I would go to bed at night without worrying about my sump, IMS, bore scoring, coolant leaks and engine rebuilds. Just kidding, I don't think about any of that stuff...unless?

TFW your car is an absolute piece of trash but it's okay because it shares a headlight with a racecar

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1999-porsche-911-60/

2/98 black on black with ebay LED tails and 7 previous owners. Original stereo though, I'd buy it

I;ve never seen an options sticker so empty

my best friend has an S2000. It’s fun to drive and has a great shifter. However I find it very underpowered

It's a proper 99 with the grey center console. Looks like the owner swapped the ambers out for clear lenses.
