They've been offering a lot of junk lately in general. Ever since they expanded the amount of cars presented at a given time the overall quality has fallen off, they seem to take whatever.

I can't blame them for trying to cash in when the market is hot though. I kinda wish I could put my car up and see what happens without having to actually sell it but that is the risk for the potential reward.
It seems like once they sold the quality of listings went way down

Didn't realize they did that, makes a lot of sense.

Matt Sanchez, Hearst Autos CEO: “Bring a Trailer has set the bar for building a community around a passion point. What Randy and (co-founder) Gentry (Underwood) have developed is truly special, and what they deliver to their audience is so much more than transactional. They’ve built a family, developed trust and have become an invaluable part of the automotive landscape.

In all fairness the bad CARFAX is from an accident with a bicyclist.
So they should actually get some credit for that.

I’m surprised by the quality and quantity of 996s on BAT.
If I was selling my 996 I wouldn’t want 12 others to be listed at the same time.

You could be right. They rejected my 4,100-mile 1976 motorcycle a few years ago:

There is a rumor going around that BAT is planning to list what's left of that bicycle that was hit.

I think the dealers have found this to an easy venue so we are seeing more.

The “floor” for 996 is forming up around $30K. So all the buy-here pay-here’s are scrambling to flip every $6k Cab & Tiptronic baking in the Encinitas sun into $30K. That’s why we’re also seeing so many no-reserves & “silent” sellers. It’s all gravy

It’s not just 996s that are up: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...che-gt3-rs-37/
