As much as I love the whites, and yellows and reds, my Seal Gray just grabs me and forces me to stare at it! Mesmerizing.

That settles it. Seal Grey is the most desirable color besides yellow. 😊

Orange is the absolute top desirable 911 color all years all generations

It’s the only color that consistently beats Yellow

Sadly orange 996’s are so rare they practically do not exist

I saw a 2000 c2 done this way with black Carrera lines at the bottom. Every one was looking at this car. Personally I want a tatesfully modified car in excellent mechanical condition, the aesthetics are secondary to me because they don’t influence the driving feel. Now if you prefer to get drunk in your garage looking at your car then go for whatever color you like. When I was involved with car care products I always loved the DuPont chroma system paint jobs that had like 6
colors into one. Beautifully done on a mustang cobra.

Why are prices trending up? Just look at it! This car can hold it's own as one of the best looking 911's of all time. Pics speak for themselves

996 - classic 911 that has a timeless look, bridging the gap between air cooled old school and the busy techno modern look of today.

I gotta agree with Bdron, it will end up aging as one of the best. Wasn't sure when the 997 then the 991 came out. Became damn sure when the 992 came out.

Too much crap going on with the newer models. Look like expensive boy cars, in contrast to the classic look of the 996.

Well, that particular 996 looks great, but is a far cry from my stock 99 triple black cab.

Even the lowliest of 996s are still good looking cars IMO.

Ill defend the silver C4S as well. First, it’s a beautiful color, 2nd it works really well to display the heckeblende panel thingy in the back. When I was looking, silver was on the top of the list.
As far as comparing these to aircooled cars, having driven up to 964, not even close. Different cars.

Funny thing is that a set of wheel spacers does wonders for the look and stance of any aero and non-aero 996. New set of wheels can alter the look from classic (Fuchs) to modern (Apex) and everything in between.

Add Ann aero kit or the ducktail and you only enhance the lines without looking like a 20 year old designed your car.

Add Cup aero and you got a serious looking track car.

You can dress the lady any way you want to enhance the curves and lines. Try that on a 991/992. You can't.

I’m with you, aside from the factory 991 GT2RS and 991 GT3RS wheels. Those can make even a 1980 Polish Fiat look amazing.
