Petersen's Porsche Classics No. 2, 1983. I have a copy but buggered if I know where. It has a yellow DP935 on the cover

Those were leg warmer and baseball jacket years. Modern Love and shoulder pads were on their way. Dave would have had his hair and frolicking with vintage 911s not even a twinkle in his eye yet...oh my those dp and gemballa apparitions sure haven't aged well but are still Porsche geek cool!

John, won't be on the track for a bit. Need new tyres and brakes and will be out of the country for a couple of months come Sep. Should be all set for summer season tho.

That said, I will run Helga at least on one classic trial regularity event to get her sorted post suspension change. I'll look to do the rear struts this weekend and check out those Bakelite spacers that went on your 3.3 while I'm in there.

Paul, impressed with all those old p-car photos you've posted on the fb page "Early 911 New Zealand". That bug was planted early in your life I see :-)
My only family pcar experience was a cousin who brought a 911 back from the UK in the mid '80s. Otherwise I'm on my own but my 3 boys have been well exposed now. I wonder what they'll remember about these times when they're my age.

Crikey! Bristols to a high standard it says. Body in good condition and no cracks in the dash!

Those vintage 911's were merely 10 years old and they were the one's I was lusting after. The Carrera 3.2 was just out, so was the 944. 928's were like starships. If I was lucky, I'd see about 3 911's a year. Not the same now, I see half a dozen Porsches on my morning walk in 30 minutes.
