^^^^ Sure its not garage queen and has some very hard track miles to its name but at 50 something K its a bloody bargain as a Targa Tour/Track car. It would probably do a 1.15 at HD out of the box.

Chris B. You want a solution for Track/enduro/NITT/SITT and Targa Tour look no further offer 50K cash take it or leave it! Save the 996TT as the daily drive...

Thanks guys, got hooked up with a tester tomorrow. Woot. Last step is an extinguisher from Steve which I'll collect over the weekend & I'm ready for the hopefully not cancelled RT.

I know the car as I inspected it in Singapore. I knew the owner there Weng. It had done huge track hrs and needed a lot if work. Jon P bought it as a race car I think for Mark (guy who now has the GT4 spec racing in USA) as a race car in BZ and he ran it in a few events but had to spend a fortune on it. Somewhere along the way it needed a new bumper and wheels hence the mark 2 bumper and Simmons. It's done big mileage and most of that at pace and no matter what people like to believe all Porsche Motorsports components are lifed that's how they are the only manufacturer makes money from their Motorsports programme . Matt drove it so can comment on overall condition and driving impressions. All above said for 50k it's probably a good buy...

Damn that was quick. We were only talking offline on Monday about Matts old e46 and saying there was plenty of time LOL!

Out of interest Nik pointed out to me a deal on a Japanese auction site for a Clio V6 (high kms) which went recently for 8K NZD. Not sure if any of you have ever seen one of these in the flesh, I expect you have, but what a brilliant drive for the Targa Tour. If that very talented driver in the Renault 265 could lead the field last few big Targa Tours then I reckon the V6 clio with the right pilot and some compounds could be a pretty niffty trick and alot of fun to boot...

Not canceling the meet. However it can now only be a sprints meet. Paul is looking at doing dual and single sprints.

PCNZ Sprints Day - 15 June 2014:

As John says, we can't do sprints & RT's on the same day. So we are now doing single car and dual car sprints all day. 5 laps.

So far Pete, John, Doug, Gary Dunlop, Craig Pye, Ron and Patsy, Walter, Neil D and me have signed up.

Razzo is going to sign up and be there on the day. Dan the man is scrutineer.......

Chris B, Chris M, Matt, Mark, Michael, (Jason) - whats the story lads??

We have 26 signed up so far, with cars ranging from early 911's to 991's.

Michael - you should come - there is plenty of fresh meat 911's to smoke.........

There are a few newbies too from the DT Day, so should be a good social mix.........

Dave - don the camo-cap and come down to help.

Yes - I think we will need these JV's for both to prosper.

RSG needs around 15 active members for track days to work (allowing for a few to not come for whatever reason) and PCNZ needs around 30 at every event for booking track days to be successful

RSG can just be a bit more hard core and less 'PC' than the PCNZ. We can also do events PCNZ can't like Play Days.........

I've been working on getting Jesse to come along. Just gave him another prod. Also did the same with Pete Meredith.

What about another bulk email to all the RSG members?

We haven't managed an RSG Playday since the South Island tour - I get the feeling that the next one will be Taupo/Manfield.
