Don't let that cloud your mind going into turn 1 at the sprints

Neil Dewar and Petet Meredith were there when it happened. I understand it had only done around 500km's, still a new car

iPhone bcc'd the xtra account. Oh well, she didn't say no way, just asked what I was up to. If it's a solid car I can't see how I can lose.

I have designs on the bonnet, drivers door, spoiler etc. Conflicting plans.

Thanks. I won't be attending the June day (although I may visit briefly for a catch up) so I won't be able to help Craig and Gary sorry -- not that I'm qualified to be giving anyone advice on lines anyway!

I didn't realise this, I guess it's a new requirement? I don't remember needing the license when doing the regularity trial a couple of years ago.

Not fast enough. It's a 1.19 car.You need to find 3-4 sec's to compete with the 44 boys to go Porsche Racing....

Same reason I didn't buy the silver C3 race car. You would be dead last by a considerable margin.

Cheaper to go buy a manual 993 or 64. The kits are $12K USD, so you are budgeting $20K all day long...........

We discussed this for a while about 300 pages back. Chris was entertaining the idea of building up a race car for a while from a cheap tipo.

There's always this option as well. Maybe not the fastest on the track but it would solve over rev and synchro issues.

Haha, of course it would be outrageously uneconomical. Which is a pity. There is that particularly nice looking red tipo @ 54km that has been listed on TM for ever. Though it is such a nice looking car it would be a shame to slice it up

Speaking of TM cars. The black turbo thats been advertised for some time has dropped its milage from 147km to 127km. Curious....
