That article is great, especially the line about the styling. The 996TT does present great value.

The oil construct probably has a little more time to shake itself out but there is no doubt in my mind if you are in for the medium term companies like BHP which pay a strong dividend are getting close to over sold now. You could pick up 20% here in the next 18 months plus 4.8% pa divi and if using the BHP:US equity likely another 6-10% on the FX. It would be my play in this market as iron & oil are at 5+ year lows. Timing in is important but the window is opening around now. Ive been doing this for a living for a few years as a very select few of you know so I proclaim definitely NOT to be an expert LOL!
Agree, commodity super cycle over, timing now.

Nice looking car. I know the owner but not the car. An old PCNZ friend who's a good guy. Also has a lovely 356 and used to have a 968CS. You can grab your seats Paul when you pop down to pick the 912 up

Did you get my PM on Facebook?

GLWS.

P.S. Bet there's another grand in the price if you use your red spray can and "porsche" transfers to knock over those faded calipers this weekend ;-). Nothing like fresh "big reds" to win a vendor.

Looks good John. Highly recommend taking photos with a decent camera. Goes a long way to making the car look appealing and probably prevents a few lowball offers.

No time for that Macca. I have a full diary from now to Christmas and need to get it out there before the buyers go on holiday.

Jake, I have the photo gear, but not the time to do that and the colour is hard to do justice to with the harsh light. As for lowball offers, they won't get a look in. It's $48,000 or go and buy someone else's car. I have an irrational dislike of playing buyer / seller games. If it doesn't sell I can tell my wife I tried. I don't carry debt on anything I own, I've paid scheduled costs a year forward and I have an ongoing use for the car. Aside from making more room in my garage there isn't any motivation to dump the car.

Good work John. Only advice is to clarify if personalised plates come with the car - if so thats a $900 bonus for a buyer. Also service history. Im pretty sure it has one and thats a big plus for a buyer too.

I'd just like to clarify that I have never nicked a car but have relations that have and worse
