Pencil the weekend of 12-14 September, we have a North Island Track Tour that takes in Taupo and Manfield, so the boys will be in your neck of the woods...........

If the conditions are with concern to your neighbors then stocj 993 with RSR cans is perfect. Ran the car for a few years as a DD this way and no complaints form the sound police. I also had a hollow cat converter at the time (didnt realize at the time it but factory made 1994 cars for dirty fuel option M150 so no O2 sensors, lambda or cat!). Wondered why it sounded nicer/louder than other guys with RSR.
RSR muffler + stock cat = perfect for neighbours and an early riser DD
RSR + Dach X = great for the weekend car not so much for an early riser DD
My current set up is loud with either of the above due to cam overlap. Its practically too loud as a DD and only just able to be tolerated as a weekender assuming you arent leaving at 6am on a Sunday to go for a drive!!

Its a great social outing - good bit of road driving from Akl picking up others as we head to Taupo on the Thurs. Thurs night out for a curry or similar in Taupo, Full day track hire on Friday - no more than 3 groups so heaps of sessions/laps. Early morning drive to Palmy on Sat for track day there as part of Playday (4 groups that day so a bit more relaxed.) Head home Sunday...
Post any interest or PM me here if not part of our RSG group...

As a DD, no you couldn't live in Auckland with your current set up. At least not if you wanted neighbours to be neighbourly. Remember that couple with the baby in the Hilton basement car park?
Ideally, we would have a switchable option like the new sports exhausts. There are diverter valves on the market that can bypass silencers. I'm bidding on a Trademe auction for someone who's had a double exhaust on their 964. Who knows what hack I could do? In fact I have spares for the cat, primary and secondary exhausts. My garage is becoming a junior Pirongia!

I thought Id share a pic I took a few months ago, a local Jeweller who shares MJH and mine car park has this long hood:
Something about the car that I dont really like, and it didnt have a great repaint the last time. Though I guess its still worth a few dollars?

Made it to LA. Drinking token Margarita, waiting for the next flight on to Denver. Magnus will have to wait.
The drive from Napier would be the perfect warm up for the CGT!

I agree. Something's not right. Black bumperettes, black window surrounds, stance, wheels. At first I thought it might be a clumsy 964 backdate, but I see it's a '73. Now that I've just written that the owner will start posting here....

Macca, internally - your car sounds fine, the acoustic insulation seems to be extraordinary good in a 933. Outside - we can hear you 3 km's away.......
This isn't necessarily a bad thing......................

Yes that's my car , I had it on display at the Man's Show here in Palmy a while ago , I don't know who the random is .
I took off the stripes to give a bit more of a low key look , then I missed them and put them back on.

Tamaki drive, 12.00 pm. Headed along melanesia rd and up Allum st. Must live in the hood. This was the one lady owner NZ car. Ten seconds before this a 993 C4S went past, rego C4S.
