Z221 $1890 for 235/265x18. $2060 for 235/285 x 18 - both ex Mega.
NT01 235/265 approx $1800 from YHI
DZG03 M2 indictaed at approx $2300 for 235/265 set when they arrive Sept/Oct.
The RE55 are definitely cheap but I suspect a few seconds a lap off the Z221/NT01?

Peter, cheapest Nitto NT01s I found in your sizes were :
Fronts - USD221
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...=prca&fqs=true
Rears - USD256
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...=prca&fqs=true
plus whatever shipping - if like Tirerack, probably NZD300-400 total shipping on top.
But they'll wear below 1.6mm pretty quickly if thinking to use them on road.

Pete. Nittos UTQG = 100 v Z221 @ UTQG 80. From what I hear they should give fractionally more life than the Hankooks and remain good till corded.
Ive just gone back to my notes. Best sizes matches for the NT01 are 235/275 (almost perfect rolling radius match). They are available via YHI from a combination of local stock and AU stock. Pricing should come in around same as 235/265 Hankook Z221 (1800-1900 NZD).
Unfortunately only 1 x 285 Z221 left at Hankook distributor so unless one on shelf within distribution channel it does not appear that a 235/265 or 235/285 combo in available in NZ in Z221 this side of October unfortunately.
For Tony my advice would be to give the NT01 a go as there is continuity in supply and the price is fair. Its a modern compound with very good wear characteristics. I believe it should not be much more than 1s a lap slower than Z221 on a short course such as Manfield. Speculation of course.
The RE55S are cheap but discontinued, old tech/compound , possibly inconsistent/aged and will not provide future benchmarks for Tony to work from in the future....

1350 km since Friday arvo, all towing a dual axle furniture trailer to Wellywood and back. Pretty knackered but ghe old Cayenne S is such a great tow vehicle. Today's the first time I've driven between Wtn and Akl in a day.
I'd upload photos if the RL server was talking properly to their IOS app :-(
C'mon RL, fix it. 3+ days broken now

My favourite pre 90s 911 Graeme. Have seen one in the flesh and poured over it. Dripping with detail and bespoke handiwork. Advanced for their time commissioning ZF for a 6 speed box which PAG adopted 3 years later. PAG couldn't get anywhere near 470 bhp out of that engine. RUF also pioneered the EKS transmission with ZF and Saches. PAG studied this for years before abandoning in lieu of Tipo (perhaps a mistake who knows). Love it!
Cheers,

I just love a dark coloured car when its all polished and shining. Stunning! Congratulations.
Yes red brakes would really "pop" and make the perfect finishing touch. Maybe you could have the existing callipers refurbished and painted red to sort this out.
Will we see the car at the track again or will it be a weekend special?

it's a beauty, for sure, but I still have a soft spot for this pre 90's 911: http://www.gtspirit.com/2013/01/09/f...re-twin-turbo/

Doug. Well done. Done the Auckland/WTGN run a couple of times - don't envy you. Thank god you love driving!
As a matter of interest, would it not have been more cost effective to have a remove company ship the stuff up vs $600 in fuel, wear and tear and your time? Or maybe it was a son/father bonding trip??
I believe if you are still having the parse error then you need to uninstall the App in iphone and reinstall it unfortunately!

Hey Im all in for 993 values being steady an all that but Im afraid that 993 owner has been smoking crack. Worse still I saw the damage done to that car when it was T boned...
