Yip. Just pointing out to those who may be interested on here you'd drop $250 a corner having them straightened and painted/tidied then likely $150+ for the repair and a pair of decent 15mm hubcentric spacers to get those ET70 rears working with either Narrow body or wide body will likely be $400. I dont think you would be spending less than $2000 by the time you fitted them unless you just bolted them up right now with the spacers and took your chances...

I'd agree they'd obviously need to be straight and hold air etc but most track wheels I've seen at the track that have regular tire changes etc rarely are given the attention you would to a wheel. I'm not saying that's wrong but just generally they are "track wheels" and form follows function. Most of the race guys aren't worried if they have blemishes as long as they do the job and they'll pick up more doing their job. I agree they're shabby and cheap isn't always "cheap".

I'm very happy with it - big thanks to John for organising them and even bigger thanks for the professional installation job. Jason's white on black looked superb as well.

If George is on the board - I have a red on white one to hand over - just need to arrange where and when (will be back at HD on 31st if that helps.)

No problem. Just to clarity the banner situation.

I have ordered 5 more:

3 white on red for Peter M.
2 red on black, 1 for Steve R and 1 for Arthur.

Peter H took the slightly blemished red on black and will return a spare red on white, which will fill George's order.

I will bring my fitting kit to HD on 31/8, along with the new orders. Food and drink will keep me focused while I trim next to your very expensive windscreen rubber! For those of you that don't make it to HD, and don't want to tackle this yourself then I suppose I can do more on the 12/13th. I'm getting better with practice.

Macca, I saw your car on the hoist at CCS today - have you considered just buying CCS to save money on labour??

Macca retains his own personal Mechanic, and we all use him in his spare time when not fettling Macca's car. Win win.
