Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?
Chosen so a yes/no from Matt would've answered my guess without necessarily making it obvious to all (especially Tania) what he was expecting. But in penance for almost giving this thread the french kiss of death:

No bug for me though, although I hadn't even considered it as the Veyron is just sooooo expensive to maintain.
For the non FB Luddites 2 964s and a 3.2 on New Zealand B roads. Nothing manic, just enjoying the air-cooled experience Air Cooled Porsche Run - Northland New Zealand - YouTube
Like all things another effort would take it a step or two further. The drone adds the special views but can't do the sound unless you like whirring blades. I've previously tried sound with a mic on the ducktail, but that didn't work so that's a work in progress. I think you need more specialised equipment for that. You also need multiple cameras. Still, none of that takes away from the effort.
Looks are very subjective but I find the Veyron much easier on the eye though. The Chiron's huge arching side scoops are starting to grow on me now but that techy rear end was done much better by the P1 in my book and the Chiron's front has too many off-kilter angles fighting the curves there. A butch face on a curvaceous body just doesn't do it for me - can't help wishing everything forward of the front axle looked a bit smoother and more cohesive, like her older sister though just some headlight covers might go a long way.
Despite being a bug-eye Integra fan I love faired in headlights (a la Veyron, P1, R8 etc) better than recessed ones on aero styled super/hyper cars. Carrera GT vs 918 for instance. I do really like recessed lights on muscle cars like the Camaro/Challenger/Mustang though and on some concept inspired critters like the i8.
You've got me more curious now on your future arrival Matt. As Paul says, I guess time will tell...

I wouldn't throw the Chiron out of bed, but I'd probably find myself channeling her sister car's face and rear. As for under the skin, well the Chiron has her nicely licked there.
Recommended Auckland Porsche wheel repairers
I know I've seen recommendations on here before for the best place (value + quality) for getting Porsche mag wheels repaired. Tried searching unsuccessfully.
A friend has a 200 degree nasty curb rash to repair and I want to advise him where to go.
Who's the best that a few of you use?

I've used wheelfixit recently - was not 100% happy with the work they did. They cut way too much of the face back and put a ridiculously thin coat of clear on. I've seen Arrow Wheels work and it looked good, I'll be using them this week.
