Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?
Hi everyone, I am thinking about selling my 996TT - with the new baby I have done less than 1000km in the last 9 months and I feel a bit bad about having it sitting around. I have done quite a bit of maintenance on it as I had planned to keep it for a while. I know you all don't like to talk about price, but any idea what it's worth? 2003 TT, MT, Silver, 65km

It feels good to have contributed something to mankind. My word "lesboid" will slowly become part of our daily vernacular....by year 2050 I should think if Logans Run or Blade Runner don't get us first.
Here are the images you get when you google "lesboid New Zealand". Sorry about the Porsche content!

That 911 Turbo sounds like my kind of spec, is it in Auckland?

For those not on Facebook...
Represented RSG on Sunday coming 3rd in my first go at a Gymkhana so pretty stoked with that. Digby in his 996TT took it out running 2 1/2 seconds quicker than me. Zac came second in his 76 2.7S with just .4 of a second between him and me!! Such a good day and developed a better technique as I progressed and posting the quickest time for the Triffid course which I thought I'd fail miserably at cause my steering locks not great. Best technique was a combination of handbrake slide, modulating throttle and lots of oversteer resulting in the great pic below taken by one of the photographers.

Well done mate!!
I've only done one of these too, on seal, during the 2012 Porsche Parade and it was a lot of fun too.
I guess you have had your years value out of your PCNZ membership now.....unless you make it to drinks at Avida?

I'll tell you though mate, totally different experience on damp grass controlling the old girl.
Caught up with Costa too who used to do Trackdays back in the day with Rob, me etc. Owned a 993TT back then and now has a 997 GT3 and a Cayenne. Said he bought a 993 with factory delivery and 3.8 upgrade back in the day! Owned that car twice passing on a 993RS for it at Conti's or Gillies many years ago.

Interesting re Costa. I wonder what car that was. I only know of the red and the silver C4S with 3.8 upgrades. The red one is owned by Farmer. I think hes had it since new. The silver one was the one that Dong asked me to look at. He put a deposit on it then the sales guy was T boned picking it up from the paint shop before he settled. Im not aware of any other 3.8 so would be interesting to know what colour and model it was...

I've seen a could of really stunning 991s lately and this one looks really nice too. There is a lady around Milford/TAKAPUNA that drives a midnight blue C4S version with sports suspension on the upgraded wheels- pretty sure she's had it since new maybe 3 years now and have to say it's a great looking car. IMO the targa 4S variant is one of the most impressive looking modern porches full stop....

Yes, and many of them are imports, some from Singapore, my favoured source. Not may S manuals though. The cost to sort the IMS weighs heavy at this price point and I suspect there will be an excess of supply over demand for the next year or two. Could be a few bargains for those willing to be patient.
When I imported mine there was only ever 1 or 2 for sale at a time and often none.
