As I said to you afterwards the last session of the sunday when I followed you the whole session I enjoyed that, watching your car, lines etc and thought you drove really well. You will probably find 215 more than enough grip with 185 or max 195 on front. It will make all the difference. I tried to look on mylaps to find the times for the last session just to see if we were in fact consistent because it certainly felt consistent. Couldn't see it posted yet.
Here you go

Might want to delegate the job to one of us - the longer it's on there the more difficult it would be to get off (probably, I might be over thinking things).

I take it they are particularly sticky this time? Not sure what others do but I normally wax my door (and I guess bonnet this time) prior. So far that's worked but by the sounds of it, this stuff might need a heat gun and/or that DisolveIt as suggested...

Rear wheels are on even if only with test tyres, ended up a 10" rim (just under 11" over all) the fronts will be more challenging with the big reds which may require custom hats for the rotors.

Thanks guys. The dissolve it worked with a pressure gun. The stickers were printed on paper so once wet became hard to remove. I made the mistake of washing the car Friday night after qualifying which set them nicely! Car is chamoised off and looking pretty good although there is some new rash and tones of door marble marks down the doors and rear fenders. Shes has a hard week covering 1800km with the equivalent of three track days all of which were hot and two of which produced a personal best.

Actually the car is due an annual service next month and appears to have covered 6000km in 12 months including a 2 day Targa Tour and a 1000km Northland mini targa. Not bad going for my "B" car. I think the GT3 has also covered 6000km in that time with 7 track days. Not too shabby given I dont live here. 2016 will be a big mileage year for the GT3 (10,000km & 10 track days). I suspect the 993 will see little use at all...

Graeme was great at removing them cleanly by pulling on them very slowly. I made a mess of the one on the bonnet so soaked a cloth in water and left it on the sticker for half an hour. It then let go cleanly - was a piece of cake.

The trick is to be patient.

Awesome weekend, had a lot of fun. The time bar obviously wasn't an issue for me so I was able to drive as fast as I could. I ended up following Craig and Geoff each session and we all got faster each time.

Mission accomplished... the last lap of the last session was a personal best, so very happy about that. As predicted most of the time I'd lost was in turn 1.

Ha ha. I pulled a little slide around barrel 51 for the crowd on the last race cool down lap just to show a tiny bit of bad ****. I'll make it up to the gang at the next track day or b-road raid.

Unlike you and Macca I wasn't trying to get black flagged. I definitely had a few seconds more. Not hard really when I was driving a car maybe 150kg lighter than Herman.

Best moments of the weekend:

- Paul doing a 1:18, on an out-lap
- Brendan having a braking adventure into turn 1 and having one of the ice packs in his suit slide down his leg
- Beating a Cayman to turn 1 off the line (OK I think he took pity on me)
- Passing a 964
- Finishing the weekend with a PB
