Yes a 7/10s trophy but called the NOT Miller Cup?

Great time had over the weekend. The driving itself was fun but mostly just hanging about and chatting, looking at cars over the weekend was the highlight for me.

NTMC Cup (Not The Miller Cup). Has a nice ring about it. Buba get the old one panel beated and re engraved and well stick it on a block of wood base and get it out there again. Its been too long...

P.S. Doug. Congrats on your regularity at the trial. You should have been given a cup for that effort I reckon. However should you wish to make a habit of attending such events your RSG membership will need to come under peer review mate :-P

Ditto on some level of recognition for the effort made, especially when others were less focused and possibly had more fun 'reverting to type'. It was well worth it for the time with other competitors and the 50+ laps driven, but I won't be entering any more regularity events. Next week I will purely spectate.

Photos uploaded to Google, should be able to download at full res: https://goo.gl/photos/PNup8yo9REooVN847

Need a longer lens and steadier hand, but a few good ones amongst the noise.

Tried to upload a few here, but the mobile apps are not behaving.

I think the regularity was fun, mostly because I could go at a pace that was fast enough to be worthwhile and not worry about getting chucked out. It was great running with Graeme in the RSR, Andy in the Jagermeister, Brendon in the SC and Pel in the SC but being a regularity means there was not a lot of dicing but good to run close nonetheless. The other chap in the white 924S who I know well (good guy and does safery car duty for V8 supercars, and rallies etc) said he got more than 100 laps in for the classes he was running and sat some out so it could be seen as good value to if you can do more than one series. I think that our 6 runs were enough though because of the heat and the toll on the cars / tyres / drivers. Good fun and happy to have been talked into doing it. The Orange T was fantastic and a lot of fun. I think that I'm some way off its potential though and 120's are not in the ballpark any time soon. I was working quite hard for the 123's / 124's In those conditions with the Dunlops.

Sold I presume? It is a lovely car and it would be fun to test drive. But I am back in the S this morning and it fits me like a glove.

Since you are genetically incapable of running at 7/10ths I'm assuming that you'd automatically exclude yourself!

Or drive a car not capable of going under the speed bar.

HD Office has my helmet - (yeah!)

Yes - GT4 is sold.

I think we might see a white Cayman R coming on the market soon Pete
