Default Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?

Reminds me of my aunt - kept all the curtains closed in her house to avoid sun damage/fading to furniture etc. Not the most comfortable place to visit.

Have any of you used rust protectant or some such on car parts? The mount/frame that holds the radiators looks to be unprotected and has minor rust on the corners where exposed. Would like to deal to it instead of replacing (low cost part, may replace when a rad goes but not keen on dismantling at this point).

Still need to put the effort into taking the bumper off and installing mesh to protect the radiators...

With all the hammering on Herman and DIY going on, I'm ashamed to ask... who is the new Dean at CCS now?

Truly the best thread on the web, guys
On the water? Did you flick your fleet in the end?
I went to run my sadly neglected yacht on Sat and tho it started first pop as usual the entire house side of the electrics was dead. Maybe the splitter solenoid? I really wish now that I hadn't fallen asleep right after "electrons holding hands".

(Sorry, maybe need a boating side thread but no worse than Honda talk).

If anyone knows I'm all ears?

CCS has dropped the ball here.

IMO this is what happens when management is spread across more than one marque.....

James? I think, but not sure. He's efficient enough but it's not the same. Not feeling the love, but then I'm backing myself to do a lot of my own work from now so not worried.

Once you've done Herman, maybe you could be the new Dean?

Dean was obviously before my time - I am guessing he was the last foreman?

I'm currently dealing with Ehrin who has been very helpful and happy to answer my questions. Based on email, his title is Foreman / Warranty Administrator.

I've been dealing with Ehrin since Dean left. He is excellent to communicate with and has been very proactive. I think hes been standing in. The new guy is apparently from VW so I heard. However I asked Tony to advise me and introduce me to the new Service Manager via email once he was appointed. I've heard nothing.

This is an Epic drive. 993 vs GT4. Spa is now on the bucket list for sure!

Nah Jason, kero queen and poolside R&R
Samoa has a CASINO..in my mind it meant the trip wasn't a total borefest.
Sold 50% of the fleet, the other 50% nearly gone, but no money in the bank yet
What was happening with the elecs, was there any insts etc, or no battery power at all..I doubt the split diode had any thing to do with it
Sounds like switch or battery fault
What was alternator charging at?

This is no ordinary 993 and no ordinary driver. Chasing 991 GT3 at Ring just before getting a 7.32 BTG time (about as good as it gets for a non professional driver in a GT4 let alone a GT3!).

Here is the 7.32 Bridge to Gantry at the Ring. 993 is a Carrera C4 6speed (described as "modified"). Would love to know the spoec. Driver is very talented (heel to toe very good). Driver bio says hes been driving 993 Carrera at track since 16. The above video chasing the GT3 is on Federal road tyres!
