I've been running the numbers on some of the UK metal. working off a 0.41 rate (conservative) things like C63AMG & E92 M3, RS4 are cheaper in NZ for similar mileage right now than UK! Sounds like Chris's car will be ready for NITT! It will be very interesting to see how it runs. Hopefully we may also see Leongs GT4 out there too. Going to be a great event - very well subscribed. I think 2015/16 is the year of the Gayman Style!
Just heard that the Australian review is going ahead. Bugger, one less Cayman to bother the unbelievers.

The price included freight but yes, add 15% plus $80 customs fee blah blah and you are pretty screwed now

Hi and welcome Wayne. Always room for 928ers on the forum and hopefully that wing materialises for you. Miss my 928 and wish more made guest appearances on track. Maybe we'll see you and yours at a Manfield Playday sometime if we're lucky? Or maybe an epic roadtrip up to show her off at the Porsche Festival of Speed this summer?

maybe
need to do a pile of work to her before shes ready to stretch her legs , she has basically sat for the last near on 10 years with the last owner having her for the last 20 years ..... so she needs a bit of love mechanically before i can drive her the way that it was intended .
However i did grab a set of turbo II 911 rims off trademe .. tried them under the guards today and they should be fine with some 295's under the back .
This weekend is getting the cooling system sorted and removing the busted air pump , new thermostat and doing all the oils and rubber under the bonnet ..
I used to do left to right hand conversions done in CHCH for autowerks when i was a young man .. I really wanted a older 911 turbo but a 928 will do for now .

and thanks

Hi Guys,
Just logged on and found I was on page 1726 of 1806. Don't think I'll be able to catch on all that's been happening somehow. Unfortunately I won't be able to make NITT anymore. I wouldn't have had the GT4 by then anyway. A shame as I managed to convince a friend from Wgtn, who I've been trying to get to Trackdays to come at least to watch.
Mark, I see PTS is now available on GT4. What colour are you getting? My order is still not locked in so will be Sept build at the earliest and delivery in November.

Hi Leong. White or red at this stage (free colours).

Very sorry you cannot make it to the NITT. Could you remove your names from both lists on the RSG board? This will enable the reserve name to fit in your slot for Manfield where we have no positions left.

True - Macca is the only one lucky enough to be retired in his 40's.

I tired copying his car portfolio (993/GT3), but apparently this is not the secret of his success?? As I am still working 6 days a week (now 6.5 to pay for the GT3 consumables)

As none of us are smart enough to have created something and live off royalties or passive income, we all understand mate..........
