I already have 19's however I can't bring myself to pay $4,000 per set of Cup 2s when alot of my driving is DD commuting, plus it would mean abandoning 4,000km old PS2s on the rears.

Instead, I can spend $4,000 on a set of OZ 18" and $1,830 on Z221s, then renew the tyres at half the cost per set of the Cup2. I suspect 18" wheels that fit Caymans will be hot property as more turn into race cars in the future so it's not a dead cost.

Yes, the LouvreTec quote came in at $17,000 so add that to the $35,000 bathroom/toilet and doing neither makes this very affordable

As for dates, I pick up the tyres tomorrow (to stop anyone snapping up the rears), but I dont think rims could be here by 15 Aug. No NITT for me this year as I have work travel in Oz. You may not see these until the Porsche Festival unless I do a sneaky track day here or there.

John

You may want to check out RSG site. Could be a nice pre Parade date to break in those new tyres of yours...

Didn't take JM long to come round on "I'm not going to track the R". Good stuff!. Someone dig up those quotes please :-)

Stuff the Carbon GT buckets, those seat covers are what we should all be putting in our cars!

You and John could always just swap wheels given you're both running near new PS2's...

Genuine R wheels are $13,000 landed, based on Stoddard's price. Numbers are 987.362.157.05 and 987.362.161.00

Better to fit OZ wheels, even if $4,000 landed. It's all relative.

No, and I don't intend to either. Have to keep an eye on my seats as well as they're big bucks. Even the door pulls are $150. Just for a piece of webbing!

Yes, I want no pressure on Herman's box repair etc and I'm not going to go all Summer without tracking a car so it was a no brainer. Now to select some pads and I'm ready to rumble.

Default Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?

What's the go with the August 15th PCNZ event? Is it being changed to an arrive and drive style format or sticking to sprints?

Another track day as far as I know. Fwiw Paul if you are reading this I like the half dedicated session and half arrive and drive format that we had last week.

A bargain new at $10,250 landed!

I think I will go with the OZ wheels. I never regretted buying the new Fuchs and I look after my stuff. Any thoughts on the colour for the OZ wheels?
