Alfa are starting to hit their stride. 8C was a hit. 4C a close miss and now this (looks like a hit on the face of it..)

Nice to see them add some go to their show. And Alfa has further to go yet. Fiat Chrysler are selling Ferrari (had at least half the shares since 1969, 90% since '88) so they can put more into Alfa Romeo. So the self-deprecating Fezza owners who describe their cars as Fiats might soon be calling them Tatas or whatever.

I'm just hoping VW Group gives Ferrari a wide berth, as I don't think it's healthy for too many supercar nameplates to doss together under one roof.

Totally agree!

Good to see Alfa get the investment and great to see them finally get some mumbo and a promising chassis to go with the great looks...

Not sure Top Gear will survive without these 3. The Aussie, German and American versions are crappy IMHO............

Agreed, although I must admit that the novelty of Top Gear had worn off for me.

Unsure about the reporting, pretty sure House of Cards was originally British?
The American online media streaming service is home to such award winning original programming as “House of Cards” and “Orange is the New Black.”

It was indeed Jake. A few Euros turning up on US pay channels too such as the Danish originated The Killing...

I got over Top Gear years ago just watch the specials now.

One thing is for sure Netflix and hBO et al will eventually rule all our content we will just get local programs and news and all else will come to us via the Internet....

Yeah - one of my all time fav's, that and the 996 GT3 RS vs the 360 Scud.

Mind you - this one has got a bit of airplay on my laptop recently:

Off the top of my head we have Chris M, Doug, Jake, Peter, Tony & Me with ex UK cars. Who have I missed? I'd like to get a quality photo of all the cars together.
Mine ain't a Porsche, but it came from the UK (London and Edinburgh) bought sight unseen over the web. Spent 6 months on the road here before I pulled her to bits and did a nut/bolt rebuild on her.

The saga.....

Can certainly attest to some thorns, including the car I tried to buy before I bought mine, only to have the owner back out of the deal, having to cancel the bank cheque I made out in UKP and convert back to NZD, at a point where the NZD/UKP cross dropped about 10% in a week and I watched over $5k of my hard earned evaporate into thin air.

This Singer Targa is just the 'Mutt's Nuts' - really struggling to find fault. Colour combo is perfect.

Maybe the car sits slightly too high at the rear......?

If they solved the leaking and wind noise, you'd have to think about it??

Hi, first post! I have recently purchased a 79sc and live in the Auckland region. I will be attempting to carry out most of the basic maintenance work myself, but would like some advice on a good independent workshops in the area. I have been having problems with finding a decent wheel alignment place, so any help there would also be appreciated. Also recommendations for more extensive jobs like complete strip and paint work and engine rebuilding. It would be nice to know which garages the local P-car guys use.

appealing for cruising in California but I can't imagine it would be anywhere near stiff enough to handle the big wheels and modern rubber to handle ok. Singer hard top for me I think.
