Can't do Ron's trial run tomorrow as I'm transport for Jan and Mark doing the round the bay's. But heading north to catch up with some work mates in the afternoon.

Doug: Great to see that you've successfully collected Lola, look forward to a run soon. I feel the same about the PCNZ run; expect lots of people and sedentary pace (happy to be told that isn't the case). But I'll tag along if there's a decent contingent from RSG, assuming CCS have my car sorted in time...
Test drove one of the gen 1 Cayman S today (was helping a friend buy a VW wagon, got bored), interesting car. Such a different feel to the 911. Expect that it needed an Italian tune up as it blew a little smoke for the first 20 minutes, but seemed cleaner after a decent push through some empty industrial areas. My partner made me promise that the next car would be a 4 door, unsure if 2 x 2 doors = 4. Going to take a look at a 130i M Sport as an option next. Relatively cheap considering RWD and 250hp.

^^^ Macca - you won't last 24hrs......... easier to give up sex, alcohol or breathing for that matter.........
Dave - I have just been reading the orange thread from the beginning (sorry I wasn't subscribed)............ arrrrr............this is just going to be the coolest 911 out there............
(P.s. - I had to giggle when you said it was going to be ready in March..........I'll give you to the 31st!!)
The SC will be no contest - the T is lighter, faster, has more torque and fresh suspension.......... think everything the SC could be with $50K pumped into it..........

You can only hope for lightness and a car that dances to get a different feel.
You should drive a GT3 as they do feel quite different and rev much higher, but have most of the HP you are used to.
Did you drive the red CCS manual DT car?
So would you own a Cayman.........??
