Hi John. Great minds and all that...
The committee are currently working on a project to provide something back to RSG members - something you would like. If that plan fails then a Banner for each of our members could be a great substitute!

I can order a minimum of 5. Think I might do that for myself so I can fit them sooner rather than later.

No track 944 here yet, just scoping out what the options are, and whether to hunt for track dedicated or road registered.

I find myself visiting the 996 gt forum more and more. I am secretly lusting after a gt car of that era. When I sit down to think about it and try to rationalize it just doesn't add up having more than one fun car. However, I just couldn't part with Mr Black. This is a disease and I am confessing to the afflicted. They say the first step to recovery is to admit the problem

Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?
Lola is back where she belongs all fresh and shiny. Very happy with Steve's work. So much care and attention to detail went into it. They even steam cleaned the engine and painted the wiper hardware.
Dave took me down to Pirongia and we ogled the Orange T. She's getting the attention now that Lola is all done.
We took the long way back, towards Raglan, SH22, Ridge Road and m'way from Bombay Hills. We swapped cars for a little bit towards the end of the run. The two red cars looked great together.

Yeah, what an exciting morning. Talk about pack it all in. Gone at 6 and home at 1. Doug gave me a go in Lola and talk about massively different to the SC. Controls are much heavier, seats tighter, cockpit more crammed. It's a bit quieter too. The SC engine sound pad turned to dust so you get the full noise in that. I was very surprised at how different they are. I'm definitely advancing in the right direction in terms of finding the tactile 911 experience. Even though Lola has some fancy hard bits, it's like an old 911 but with everything dipped in rubber to dull it off a little If you know what I mean. That's what probably makes it much more refined I suppose.
