Endured the heat today and got the Turbo ready for compliance tomorrow, that process is criminal pulling perfectly good cars apart and completely unnecessary
in my opinion.
Fortunately slow and steady didn't wreck or break anything so happy days.

This looks like Matt's car. Main page of Jalopnik is pretty epic!

late 30s early 40s would be much more tempting. Heigo rollcage in both last time I saw too, perhaps some other small tweaks.. remove 50kg and you have an R. Sorry john just kidding! nice purchase by the way. a great modern stablemate for Herman.

Thankfully there is a lot more to the R than reduced weight. That aside the concept of a racing Cayman really appeals. I can see it as the successor to the 944.

John, are you in NZ on the 28 April? This may be Lola's first day back on the track. Would be nice to see your cars out there too, esp Herman for some more air cooled action and to test your upgrades against Lola. I expect to be nannying her around the track - yeah right :-P

Paul suggested the CCS cars already have uprated springs and exhaust... other than weight, probably not a lot of other differences that would affect track performance left?
