Any Rennlisters from New Zealand?

Matt - we don't see much of you these days mate, not sure whether you have recently traded models again or whether those UK asking prices have converted you into a bonnet polisher and you are preserving the paint and miles......??

She's not as lovely as your old 964, it's a bit rough around the edges with the paint work but seems to go OK. But then I'm no expert there either. First track day will see if anything is going to fall off, seize or explode.

Ok starting to clear out my garage.
First up is a lap belt for a 964 (at least part number is 964). $50 takes it off my hands
Part number 9648030150070B. Pelican Parts sell them for USD 70 on special order.
What do I have it? Well if you have babies/toddlers you want to take in a 964 you will be challenged with the 3 point belt system in the back as you can't fix the seat firmly. The lap belt allows you to firmly cinch the base of a child seat down in the back.
Warning - you won't pass a WOF if you leave this in the car as a lap belt can't replace a 3 point belt no matter the rationale. That said they are simple to remove and refit around inspection time.

Reading all the HD posts made me envious so planned an early road trip the long way from Oakura to Ocean Beach on Whangarei Heads today. To add an element of surprise I had Tom Tom plot it by adding Matapouri and selecting Windy Roads=Max. The route was 227k taking 2.5 hours (plus the return trip via a more direct route ).
Ocean Beach was beautiful. I don't recall ever being there before and took a long walk along it. Took lots of photos.
Without Macca to chase or try to drag off I flipped the lid down and drove like a Nana so I could take in all the views.
(Macca I can only post one photo at a time still from the app)
