Whether they fit is a function of not only the ET but the wheel width. ET54 is the most you will tuck under a 993 C2 rear assumes a 10" rim and non SUV ride height...
December issue of NZ Autocar features the 991 GT3 and Targa 4S. No chance to read it fully yet but Macca - you have mail! Stu Owers made 0-100 in 3.44sec on chipseal with it - wow.

Walt. You are a star! Much appreciated pre weekend reading. Not only did Stu Owers give it a huge thumbs up but the article also featured our very own RSG 996.1 GT3 owned by Nigel C....

P.S. Its 12 months yesterday my 991 GT3 completed production and 12 months this time next week that I picked it up fresh from the factory. Time flies!

Only reason we're looking at a Tip is to hold hands. Will make sure to take the GoPro.
Has had the tick of approval. My better half likes the 964 shape much more than mine and has a soft spot for convertibles. Realistically it wouldn't be driven daily, more for her as an occasional and weekend weapon. I'd not be afraid to drive it regardless of the colour. Am sure it would grow on you...?
Jake. I told the seller I will be there at 10:30. Address is in Albany. Agree with Macca's comments re buying for someone else. The WB is a masculine shape (what woman identifies with a big bottom?), but the colour is more feminine. If it's dry it will be a good chance to stretch the Turbo 3.6 legs a bit, if nothing else, now that the Grinch is mobile.

It must have been a Japanese thing. Here is a Japan import 993 tipo that was for sale on TM around 4-5 years ago. I spotted it shortly after the listing at the carpark at the 2009 Ellerslie Concourse and had a good peak. It was very green. Infact I believe the interior and exterior colours are identical to the 964 we are discussing. The convertible hood breaks things up a bit at least. A very individual colour I guess.

Walter, weather is looking a bit dodgy, but if it changes then I have 2 cans of bogan black and one can of clear coat, plus fine sandpaper ready for the cars.

The 964 Cab is Wimbledon Green. Jake and I will look at the car together tomorrow morning. I'll suspend judgement until I see the colour.

Thanks mate. Very much looking forward to getting back in town and piling on the Kms. Hoping the weather in NZ picks up over the next three weeks and it warms up.
Very disappointed to hear that the rozzas are policing for revenue again from next week. 4km/ph tolerance is BS. Most speedos are 4% out at 100kmph. Thank god I live in a country where speed is not policed. Ill have to pick my visiting months to NZ better next year. My NZ license expires in 8 months I don't think Ill renew it, they can send the fines to here!

Macca, you need a nz licence for playdays etc. We've lived with this for years, it is not new. They mainly police the main highways and you have a radar detector. Touch wood, I haven't had a ticket for a few years now. Damn, that may just jinx it.
