My only gripe with the 964T was that it was less of a "driver car" and more of what I called a "hairy man's machine"

Yeah agree Jake, the cow **** was pretty baked on by the time I got home. For the curious amongst you a farmer had shifted a herd along woodcocks road and we picked up plenty! It was worth it though. No traffic and fun twisties. I'm quite enjoying the emerging patina on my once immaculate Boxster. Adds character :-P
Paul, I hope you will continue to "drive" your car even after its lovely new paint makes it super pretty.

Thats strange. Ive had 2 x Valentines for 14 years and the only false's I get are under the electronic traffic counter on the overhead coming onto the motorway from Barry Pt Rd and another one somewhere else Ive forgotten. You need to turn X band off (its easy instructions are on their site) and the K band used by electric door openers in gas stations etc. I think you only need the two Ka bands and laser. This is one of those conversations like what oil is best in G50.

It was a nice car and definitely confirmed how good the original 996's are, however the fact that it had had an off in the past was psychologically insurmountable to me. Evidence is there that the repairs were done very well but I have had issues in the past and once bitten twice shy. Since we can afford to wait and hope for the "perfect" car because we are looking for a long term car and not an occasional track day toy kind of thing we have passed on this occasion. I'd say if you were looking for a car to take to the track on weekends that was still in very good nick with low kms etc this would be very good.

Pity they can invest so much in cars but only $300 in a camera, the shaky cam at the beginning was almost enough to stop the video.
Highlands pic is great.
