Doug. I will look to do the same. Leave Herman or the Turbo 3.6 at my parents place in Waikanae before the big push. Donna would likely fly to Qtown. We want to do the Otago rail trail

Right. You are definitely our French translator! That will help for Spa. Thats an epic track. Jo's fluent German so we have Nurburgring/Effiel trip covered. We need someone to learn Italian. Jo has some reasonable Spanish but not close enough. Im afraid Im a fail for all languages including english.

Paul. Two weeks should be plenty to cover Ring + Spa and some epic Alpine passes. You may have to rent something at the track. Game on.

I think we may have to postpone NITT 2016 into October.

Agree, there's no point taking young children that far. We took Adam as a 5 year old to France for 3 weeks. He kept on wanting to hang with other kids, either at fair ground merry go rounds or McDonald's play areas. Of course you could wait until they are old enough to stay at home by themselves but 2029 is a long wait!

2029! - we started too late...........

It's scary - I will be 59 at Hannah's 21st.

My parents had 3 kids off their plate by their mid 40's..........

How was the drive Doug and Jake?

The drive was great thanks Paul. Just Jake and I. 150k b roads, little traffic, dry and fast. Was having too much fun to take any photos. Then coffee and car talk for half an hour at Wellsford.

Really good drive, thanks for suggesting it Doug. Return trip down SH16 was all but empty until the southern end of Peak Rd.

We should all be doing this more often. So many great roads around Auckland, and so many great cars in our garages.

Macca: I'm back on the 3rd. Any time after that I'm in.

Pretty hard to be footloose and fancy free at 35 AND 55 if you going to have kids Paul. Its sort of one or the other. These days if they going to Uni they often cant figure out what to do and then takes till 25 to get financially independent and fully off your payroll. So lots to look forward to yet mate.

drip feed Macca, I am still attracted to the +2 seating for a dd car (vs Cayman gt4/R). Production should be full swing for 2016 Euro delivery?

Popped into the Air cooled coffee meeting this morning. Perfect excuse to temporarily procrastinate on domestic duties. Some lovely cars there, and some better blokes

Whats up with RL img and imglink tags? one works for desktop but not mobile (imglink) the other the reverse.

Attachments seem to work for both

What do you guys use?
