I used rnlst and I can recommend based on response time to questions and ease of installation, but if you’re not very tech savvy and don’t have experience with computers you may need some additional guidance which he can provide or I’m happy to help if needed.

Be careful with your VAS 6154. I just broke the USB connector off inside mine. Barely bumped the cable with my foot. Connector broke off the circuit board. Not something that can be easily repaired. Looks like I need to buy a replacement. Any suggestions for a reliable source?

Soldering a USB is usually pretty simple. If you want to include a close up photo of the damage I could tell you whether you could just buy a new USB port and solder it.

Can confirm the USB port is fragile but it was also pretty straightforward to re-solder whine mine fell off. I did make some modifications to stabilize the port by adding some foam padding and hot glue.

Thanks, but the connector pulled off some of the printed connections. It could be resoldered, but I don't have the ability to repair the damaged printing. I will use it in Wifi mode.

Even with ripped pads it's still possible to repair, the traces are not complicated to just run small wires. I would find a shop that can do microsoldering. I'd offer to do it but I'd rather you have someone who would offer you a warranty with their workmanship!

Just use it with WiFi. I broke mine off as well. Also consider migrating to the T6PT3G; lightning speed

I can confirm the T6PT3G works perfect.

I was finally able to create a VAL in about 3 minutes, which was not possible with LED head lamps using the VAS6154. Thanks for the hints!
