Default Friday Morning Twisties....

A pair of very well sorted 996 Turbos + mountain twisties = Perfect Friday morning!

Also had a R8 V10 manual, 355 Spider, and C4S Targa along for the drive...

Does he have a carbon GT2 blade on the back of his impeccable Seal Gray turbo...???

So. Much. Want.

Also nice to see Colorado isn't on fire as BC is.

I wish I could find a set of reasonably priced front axles to do this with. Everyone wants $400 each for junk axles. The outer CV's aren't available as repair parts while the inners are. This is odd to me, as the outers wear out first.

Yes, though I think it's a replica... Still very cool.

The complete OEM axle was under $500 about a year and a half ago... almost double that now.

I've cost the entire assembly (lid, carbon blade) from FVD for about $8200USD.

It would appear there will be no beer in my life, anytime soon...

You could always try a custom axle shop - may be more cost effective.

And today, took it up the valley to see a buddy of mine who is selling his GSX... Am not normally a fan of yellow, but it seems to fit this car well, note the mileage on the odo...

figured it would be best enjoyed by someone who's more into it, was just a runaround car for me...replaced it with a boxster which gives more variety to which keys to pick up...GT2 will always stay
