[QUOTE=motoo344;17903297]Much easier to justify an engine build when prices go up. Certainly would make my choice easier, although I hope I can get through our last car payments and wife's grad school before it explodes.[/QUOTE
It's a catch 22.
Back in 2014, one could build an S14 for an E30 M3 for $5000,
In 2020 now that prices are up and the new norm is present, that same rebuild cost you $20k.
Be careful what you wish for. I usually wish for my dream cars to be cheap and plentiful but it never seems to work out that way.

From what I've learned owning cars is that for the most part you don't usually come out ahead. Be nice to win one once in a while lol.

Good to see. The higher Turbo and GT3s go, the higher all 996s go.
Now if only it was seal grey with a graphite grey interior, it would have gone for an extra 25k. Everybody loves grey. Goes with everthing.

I sold my one owner with records C4S cab to them last yr, it was a seamless process. I'm in Fl and they're in Long Island. They sent me $500 by paypal to hold it and then wired me the money before the driver came to pick it up. No issues. I was skeptical as hell and even said it to them who buys a car without looking at it but I guess that's the old school model

What’s not to love?
Seal Gray is the color that won LeMans.

It’s a pretty color I suppose but it’s just way too common imo. if/when I’m on the market again I would not consider seal, arctic, or black (other than basalt).
