Hi Mike, Yes Jake has tested the UAOS on the "R" series engine and others and was very impressed. He is buying them from me and installing them as an option on all 2021 builds.. If you have an engine in queue to be rebuilt by FSI , you will receive an Option Sheet with the UAOS-E listed on it.

    Cheers !! Skip

Hi, I saw that you are in the same area and have been in the Porsche world for quite a while. I am looking for my first and trying to decide between a 996 and 987. Would love to hear your thoughts and/or talk about both if you have time. I am in Tinley Park and my cell is 219-730-8060 if you want to text. Thanks, Jim.

    Hey Murphyslaw

Hope you are well. I have been searching the internet to find out more about a rattle on cod start that I have with my 996 3.4. I found your post from last year, and the noise I have is very similar - a strange rattle that is not in time with the engine. Is slightly intermittent and goes after a few mins once the engine is warm. Did you ever find out what it was?

    thanks
