Its quite the week on BaT! The hits just keep on coming! Some great...some not.
Here is my vote for poor photo presentation of the week....month...year. Maybe I am being too critical. At any rate, the car might have "good bones" but the over spray repaint and "31k miles" makes me think otherwise. Maybe they will post a driving video 8 hours before the auction is up to increase the last minute bidders. If this gem doesn't get your interest you can bid on the 383 Chevy swap with 800k+ miles.
Hi all - I just finished up a real nice low mileage S4 and thought I would see if anyone here might want it before I send it to BaT. Its the best preserved, low mileage car I have ever come across. Here is the marketplace listing link: https://rennlist.com/forums/market/1166010
I'm selling a 1983 Porsche 928s that I had previously restored for my daughter. You can find all the information on the build at the following links...
He is the story, around March-April of 2017, my daughter's senior year, she wrecked the car. Accelerated in the rain from a stop sign, spun it out, slide it down a ditch, and t-boned a tree on the driver's side a pillar. She was OK, but the car, I assume, is totaled although I never had it looked at since I only had liability (bad call). I had the car pulled back up to the road and I literally drove the car home with no issue and the AC was still working. Car actually drove straight so there was no noticeable issue other than the obvious fact the door was caved in along with the a-piller. The car was parked in my garage since the accident and I made the decision a few weeks back to get it gone.
It took 2 days, but I removed the door in pieces and saved everything that was still of value. I had to cut the lock on the trunk using a sawz all to get it open. Hood was bent so it was removed and tossed in the trash. I invested about $4500 in this car and did 100% of the work myself. The links above show all of the work I did including rebuilding the engine and updating some of the parts. The car fired right up after sitting for 1.5years and does not drop or burn any oil. Please read through the 1st thread link above as that has about 95% of everything I did to the car. I purchased all of the parts from Roger@928RUS and have all the receipts.
If you have a 928S that needs help I envision you buy this car and swap everything over and you will be ready to go. The suspension was all redone recently, tranny shift kit, fluid change, Dash Pod has Roger's printed circuit board upgrade with my own LED upgrade.
I don't prefer to part out the car so I am looking to get $3500 as is, but open to reasonable offers. Send me a PM if you have any questions or interest.

High price. Hard to believe its a dealer because so many of the pics are bad, especially the interior. Chiffon white over black. Exterior looks good. what are those flat phone dials called?
James - I had contacted you back in March regarding buying your 928 as Walker had given me your contact info.
I do not recall having been contacted by anyone regarding purchasing this car since this is the first time I had it listed. Please send me a PM and my apologies if I dropped the ball.

No worries James, I sent you a message on Facebook Instant Messenger. Morgan (and the crew) was in town for TX2K and saw my 928 and then mentioned your car and the unfortunate mishap and I immediately reached out and when I did not head back I thought maybe you had sold it.

I believe we briefly spoke on the phone when he was at TX2K. I don't show anything via PM on facebook so perhaps I mistakenly did not accept a friend invite, which would have allowed your message to come through. If you have an interest let me know and we can discuss. Again, my apologies.
