Advance offering before going to BaT. I am offering the nicest low mileage 928 S4 that I have ever come across (Ive owned about 35 928s so far).
All original, low mileage 1988 Porsche 928 S4 with all services up to date. I acquired it from the son of the long-term owner who recently passed. The car had 2 owners (from 1988-1996 and 1996 to 2019). As you can see, the car was driven lightly, but it was driven regularly over the years and always had its service kept up. It was never driven in the winter months and was stored in a climate-controlled garage. The car is amazingly well preserved ... better preserved than any other 928 I've owned.
The car is completely original, in beautiful condition, drives like a new car and everything works ... I mean everything: original Blaupunkt radio, the uncommon heated seats, all lighting, cruise control, seat adjustment, mirrors, wipers, washers, sunroof, and on and on. The original silber metallic paint is also in excellent condition with no decaying of the clear coat. There are a few touched up scratches and a couple of small dings, but thats it. The linen leather interior and carpets are soft, supple and in excellent condition. The dash is the most perfect dash Ive seen, without a single crack. The original belly pans (both front shields) and front spoiler are present and in good shape. The lovely original wheels with their anodized finish are in near perfect condition.
As for recent mechanical work (all done by me): new Gates TB and Laso pump, rollers, bushings, rebuilt tensioner. Rebuilt steering rack (928intl) with new boots, Zerex coolant, 20w50, and brake fluid flush. AC fully serviced with R12 and blows in the low 30s F. New Yokahama S-drive tires all around. Crankshaft end play measures 0.007" or just less than 0.2mm. New soft engine fuel lines. Motor mounts good, shocks good, idles perfectly at 675 rpms. I have service records going back about 20 years, the car is on its 3rd timing belt. Brakes and rotors were previously replaced, as were spark plugs. Prior service clearly done by a skilled technician ... all bolts under the hood, spark plug wire routings, etc all properly sorted when I started on it (and still sorted of course). I must say that its a joy to work on a totally unmolested S4.

My hobby is finding great 928s, fully sorting and placing them with discriminating enthusiasts. If you have been looking for a 928 and you are tired of looking at ones that need a lot and you want one that is a true low mileage, beautiful and original car, this may be for you. They dont come up very often.

Regarding you seat comments...yes, my '89 S4 has the 12 way (memory on both sides!) and with the draped leather they are like sitting on your favorite couch on a long trip!
By comparison the seats in my BMW MCoupe are painful after about an hour in them.
