I agree. More likely than not the covers are on to keep the seats in as good as condition as the rest of the interior looks as opposed to being on to cover up worn out/damaged seats.

The race is on and the trailers are being loaded.
Guess we can see it at third coast
I hope someone here snags it. Plus it's a great excuse to get some Frankiln BBQ!

I gotta say the condition of that car kinda restores my faith in humanity.

Angelo is selling for his uncle who is the 2nd owner and has had it about 25 years. Seat bottoms need replacement. Reportedly original paint.

My thoughts exactly. It's cheaper to use her car as a parts car .Not that I want to part her's it's in overall decent shape.

Just saw this '79 was wrapping up on BaT today.

Guards red 1979

Thoughts? I saw that the owner says there is a small oil leak and that the timing belt was done in 2004, even though it only has 9k miles on it.

Default Super Fresh '79

https://www.janzen-klassik.de/fahrze...che-928-coupe/
In Germany for 77,900 Euro ($85,600)
It does appear to be riding at 'Safari' version height....at least in the front, no?

No '79 is worth 85 grand. That's GTS money.

Most I feel a 16v car can be worth is 30k if it's in impeccable condition with low miles.

If it was one of the first 78s I could see it, or if it had a famous past owner or some other provenance.
